Hello. I’m Kyle Jameson, a fine art and portrait photographer. I live and work in Boulder, Colorado.

When I was just getting started in my career I’d often do a lot of street photography. One of those early subjects was a homeless man called ‘The Wizard.’ His skin was wrinkled and leathery from years of living outdoors. The clothes he wore were soiled and stained and his hair was unkempt and greasy. He looked to be in his 60’s and told some of the best jokes I’d ever heard. We chatted for a few moments and I took a couple photographs of him. He surprised me when he wanted to see the screen on the back of my camera to make sure his hair looked good. I laughed to myself and realized something very valuable that day. People understand that a photograph is stealing a moment in time forever. That moment needs to be respected and given the proper thought and consideration in order to make an excellent photograph.

Since those early days I’ve photographed corporate headshots for high level CEOs, couture weddings for professional athletes, and editorial pieces for magazines. I’ve shot at castles in Europe, vineyards in California and in the mountains of Colorado and Alaska. Throughout my experience I’ve learned the value of exceptional professional photography. How does one create an exceptional photograph though? I believe it is through making a genuine connection with the people I photograph. Creating a conscious moment to express who you truly are through photography can be absolutely priceless.

I’m happy that I am able to offer something unique and truly expressive to individuals I work with. People are beautiful and flawed. People are broken and courageous. I’d love to capture you at your most genuine and create photographs that reflect your story. Dare to completely let go of convention and take a step into the unknown. Be vulnerable and authentic and let’s create powerful imagery together. Take the leap and let’s create a time and space that will be remembered forever.

Cheers,

Kyle Jameson
